The FortiSandbox 3000G detonates suspicious files in instrumented virtual machines and reports what they actually do, at 160,000 files per hour. Verdicts feed back automatically to every FortiGate, FortiMail and FortiClient in the Fabric.

This is service-provider and very-large-enterprise territory; below roughly 20,000 users the 1500G is almost always the right answer and the difference is spent better elsewhere in the Fabric.
How to work out whether it fits
The arithmetic a datasheet leaves out. If any of it does not match your situation, that is worth a call rather than a guess.
At 160,000 files an hour and 142 optional VMs this is a shared analysis tier serving many submitters rather than one organisation's mail flow. Size it per contributing system: every FortiGate, FortiMail and FortiClient deployment that submits adds load, and the total is usually dominated by two or three of them. Map the submitters before the file rate, the model is rarely the constraint, the integration plan is.
