The FortiWeb 2000F delivers 5 Gbps of HTTP throughput, defending web applications and APIs against the OWASP Top 10, bot traffic, credential stuffing and API abuse, attacks that arrive as legitimate HTTPS and pass a network firewall untouched.
5 Gbps across four 10GE SFP+ ports with four bypass copper. The doubling over the 1000F buys headroom rather than capability, the feature sets are equivalent, so choose it when your measured peak is within roughly half of the 1000F's ceiling and you expect growth inside the refresh cycle. Beyond this, the 3000F adds bypass on the fibre itself, which changes the deployment options rather than just the number.
How to work out whether it fits
The arithmetic a datasheet leaves out. If any of it does not match your situation, that is worth a call rather than a guess.
Five gigabits is enough that the sizing question shifts to how you will run it rather than whether it fits. At this volume you want two: WAF policy changes are frequent, and an estate this size cannot take an appliance out of service to make one. Cost the pair, not the unit. The four 10GE SFP+ ports also mean optics are a real line item; we quote them with the chassis rather than after it, because a WAF that arrives without transceivers is a WAF that sits in a box.
